This past weekend I took a 3 day break from all technology (phone, internet, etc).
It was so rewarding. I’m a huge fan of social networking, and I absolutely love the way it allows me to meet people and remain connected with friends in ways that just aren’t physically possible. Obviously it’s useful; it makes Love Bomb possible!
That being said, this weekend I was able to write a handful of letters to some people I love dearly. I wouldn’t have had the time otherwise.
So, this week I thought we’d do an unplugged version of Love Bomb.
Instead of leaving a comment for someone online, I would like all of you to give a handwritten note or letter (it does NOT have to be long) to someone in person. Deliver it personally or drop it in the mail.
I know this is “harder” and takes a tad bit more work on your end, but guys? We do this for OTHERS. Not for us!
This person can be family, a close friend, a new acquaintance, or a complete stranger. Just tell them they are loved, and encourage them.
If you want, email “firstname.lastname@example.org” with the transcript of your note, a photo of it, or a little story about what happened. Or simply your thoughts on this mission! I want to be able to share the results with the whole team, so help me make that possible! I’m really excited to see what this turns out to look like.
Alright team, time to go drop a Love Bomb – IN PERSON.
